I can't watch video(s) or quality is poor

If the video playback quality is poor (e.g. fuzzy, pixelated) or you have buffering issues, it suggests your Internet speed (bandwidth) or computer processing speed cannot support higher quality playback. You can get an estimate of bandwidth using a website like testmy.net. If you expect higher bandwidth than what's reported, try contacting your Internet Provider.

Other simple fixes for improving playback quality include restarting your router or modem, updating your browser, closing all other browser tabs, and clearing your browser cache. See Vimeo's own Troubleshoot playback quality and buffering issues knowledgebase article for more troubleshooting tips.

If you get an error message when you try to open the video (e.g., 'The embed code is not valid') or it is not the correct video, please contact digitalhub@field-studies-council.org specifying the title of the video(s).

If the audio quality of the video is poor, it is probably due to unavoidable issues with the field conditions on the day of filming (e.g., high winds). We apologise for this and suggest that you watch the video using the 'closed captions' option instead (click the 'cc' icon at the bottom of the video). Please report the problem to digitalhub@field-studies-council.org to allow us to improve our service.
